Development and testing of the Rivian R1T is well underway in the USA. The company has released a video of the all-electric pickup undergoing testing in the Arizona desert, and although it’s only a snapshot of the testing program, it appears to confirm that the vehicle will have true off-road potential. Particularly interesting are the clips of the R1T climbing steep rock slopes, with the torque vectoring of the four, independent electric motors, on clear display.
