HBM is showcasing its GEN7tA HighSpeed transient recorder and data acquisition system, which is billed as the latest and fastest addition to its Genesis HighSpeed range.
Designed for installation in 19in control cabinets and optimized for test bench applications, GEN7tA is said to be a premium system that has been further enhanced to support a maximum of up to 224 channels and handle a streaming rate of 400MB/sec to its hard disk.
The new hardware features a high-resolution touchscreen and a robust, seven-slot acquisition unit. Possibilities include individual configurations, connection to strain gauges, direct measurements of voltage signals up to 1,000V or even extremely fast measurements with 100m measured values per second and channel.
HBM says that, through GEN7tA’s support for the Precision Time Protocol, it can be integrated into a system with other devices without difficulty, if required. This also makes it possible to synchronize the times of multiple devices networked via Ethernet, regardless of product family.
HBM is exhibiting on booth 1300 at Automotive Testing Expo 2015 Europe, which continues at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, until Thursday 18th June.
