The ˚C Port3600 is an innovative, network-ready, 36-point channel data acquisition unit, designed for air velocity, humidity and thermocouple sensors. It has built-in atmospheric humidity and pressure compensation for maximum accuracy, with datalogging software and mobile app. The small sensors can be located throughout the HVAC ducting system, to simultaneously monitor up to 36 positions for duct velocity, temperature, and BTU transfer into regions of the cabin.
Meanwhile, the ˚C Grid is an airflow tool designed for measuring the air profile across a planar area by simultaneously polling multiple sensors. It provides up to 200 air velocity and temperature sensors for total cabin comfort testing, window defrost verification, and engine cooling testing. “Technicians would place this in the passenger cabin or engine compartment to run measurements on the vent and radiator performance. When used in the cabin, it represents what a human would actually sense while sitting in that position,” explained Jim Bishop, sales executive, Degree Controls Inc.
