With sales of US$341m in 2015, the Kistler Group overcame currency-related challenges at its Swiss site to achieve continued growth and create around 120 new jobs around the world. Kistler will again be making targeted investments in R&D during the current year in order to develop its products.
CEO Rolf Sonderegger anticipates another successful year in 2016: “Kistler will continue to grow, thanks to its unique technologies and our strong global positioning. We aim to achieve some of this growth through new products and applications, but a key part will also be played by a targeted expansion of our service offering in tandem with strategic acquisitions.”
Innovative products will be added to Kistler’s portfolio in 2016. Facilities in Germany, Japan and China have been systematically expanded to accommodate the new service offering. Two new technology centers are under construction in Tokyo, Japan, and at Kistler’s new European headquarters in Böblingen-Sindelfingen, Germany.
