Venshure Test Services (VTS) is a vehicle test facility specializing in chassis dynamometer-based mileage accumulation, environmental testing and full EV certification capability.
When it comes to BEV development, the uncertainty around range anxiety amplifies in cold weather. Often, engineering teams simply don’t have sufficient access to cold room dynamometers for testing, validating and benchmarking EVs– impacting customer experience and fueling EV hesitation.
Located only 15 miles a way from the EPA in Ann Arbor, VTS has two -35° C to 45° C (-30°F to 120°F) capable test cells with CFR Part 1066 dynameters designed specifically to support BEV Development and Certification right up through SAE J1634 Battery Consumption and Range Testing, including 5 Mode with Solar Loading. Backed with 208/240V charging infrastructure and provisioning a Megawatt (1,000 kW / 1,000 V) DC Fast Charger in 2024. Not to mention, decades of product development and testing experience have them well positioned to handle any hybrid and BEV vehicle testing solution.
VTS’s ability to move fast and rally in crisis often makes them the first choice when the customer has a “one off” or wants to figure out how to do something at scale while “failing fast” in the process. The team spends every day thinking about how to streamline and optimize the entire testing process to squeeze out the costs and ensure their Value is their only real product. Turning tires isn't that hard but doing it better than anyone else as the World ramps to EV's gets VTS amped.
