Q-Lab Corporation is a global provider of material durability testing products since 1956. We design and manufacture Q-PANEL standard test substrates as well as weathering, light stability, and corrosion testers. The QUV accelerated weathering tester is the world’s most widely-used weathering test instrument, delivering ultraviolet light and condensation to simulate outdoor exposures. Q-SUN xenon arc weathering testers reproduce full-spectrum sunlight for realistic materials testing. The Q-FOG line of corrosion test chambers accelerates the corrosive effects of water and salt on materials used outdoors.
Our weathering products and services are used by materials scientists, research and development engineering, and quality control personnel in numerous industries including: additives and colorants, adhesive and sealants, automotive, building materials (such as roofing and siding), fabrics/textiles, food and beverages, graphic arts/inks, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, plastics and packaging, and renewable energy (such as solar). If a product is exposed to the elements – outdoors or indoors – weathering and lightfastness testing is key to evaluating its durability in service.
Q-Lab’s modern corporate headquarters, R&D, and manufacturing facilities are located in Westlake, a beautiful suburb of Cleveland, Ohio USA. Q-Lab sales and distribution facilities are located in Manchester, United Kingdom; Saarbrücken, Germany; and Shanghai, China. Q-Lab also offers A2LA accredited contract test services, including accelerated laboratory testing, at our locations in Florida, Arizona, Germany, and China. Laboratory accelerated testing is available at all four facilities while outdoor exposure testing for weathering, lightfastness, and corrosion is available at Q-Lab Florida and Q-Lab Arizona.
