Nardò Technical Center in Apulia (Southern Italy) is a leading testing center providing high performance services for automotive, motorbike and heavy vehicle manufacturers worldwide.
Since the foundation in 1975, the characteristic feature of the proving ground is the iconic 12.6 kilometer-long Circular Track, which was completely renovated in 2019. Besides that, the unique
geographical position and its favorable climate conditions have been ensuring comprehensive testing opportunities all year round.
With more than 700 hectares of extension and a wide variety of test tracks and facilities, the Nardò
Technical Center supports the development of connected and intelligent vehicles of the future in
accordance with the main trends in the automotive sector -whether it is testing oncombustion engines
or electric vehicles.
Moreover, the Center offers an extensive range of engineering services including durability, reliability,
vehicle dynamics, ADAS features and testing on batteries. A team of highly specialized engineers and
technicians is able to fully meet customers’ requirements by providing a wide range of tailored solutions.
Since 2012, the proving ground is part of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH, an international technology partner and 100% subsidiary of Porsche, which offers engineering services at the highest level to the automotive industry and beyond since more than 90 years.
