mm-lab GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Kornwestheim (Germany) offering sophisticated telematics solutions for the implementation of business processes in the mobility environment.
With its integrated solution, the mm-lab Proving Ground Management System (PGMS) sets the standard for the safe and efficient operation of test tracks and is a milestone in the digitalization of processes on automotive proving grounds. The telematics system is based on state-of-the-art technologies and draws on years of experience in safety and operations in the proving ground environment. PGMS was launched in 2009 and has been continuously developed since then. Users play an important role in this, contributing with their suggestions to ensure that PGMS adapts to the changing requirements of testing operations. In response to such suggestions, the CAVE! collision awareness system and the durability test guidance had been developed.
Global players in the automotive industry like Mercedes-Benz, Ford and Bosch have relied on the expertise of mm-lab with its special know-how in automotive telematics for many years. Early 2024 mm-lab completed the first PGMS installation in the US at Fowlerville proving ground of FT Techno of America, other PGMS projects are currently in the implementation phase.
mm-lab today develops high-precision end-to-end system solutions for winter service, road cleaning and urban plant irrigation for municipalities but also telematics for waste management companies. For all solutions state-of-the-art components for positioning, mobile communication and software for controlling the relevant processes are combined in projects to create customer-specific solutions.
In June 2024 mm-lab was honored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action with an Innovation Award for its exemplary achievements.
