Miniaturized, contactless and highly-accurate sensor telemetry for all drive-train applications
Often at the stage of putting together newly designed drivetrain parts disagreeable surprises come up. For quickly identifying issues automotive engineers require contactless measurement equipment for rotating components that is extremely miniaturized. This is, because those measurements are not planned and the initial design has nearly no space left for such integrations. Also, more and more compact designs within the drive train e.g. clutches, gearboxes or flywheels can be seen within the automotive world. The challenge of “space” is however not the only thing. The electronics need to be ambient to temperatures up to 200 °C, high rotational speeds (> 28,000 rpm) and able to withstand electromagnetic fields of electric drives.
MANNER presents a new and more miniaturized product line for highly accurate measurements, providing solutions for the entire drive train. Engineers need to ensure accuracy over a wide temperature range. All miniaturized components have real-time compensation integrated that enable compensation of zero-point drift and elastic modulus measurement failures. Also, the coupling of the MANNER wear free contactless inductive data and energy transmission is extremely flexible, robust and miniaturized. Therefore, there are no influences on measurements due to masses or constraints while real-life testing.
