Huber USA Inc. is a subsidiary of Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE in Germany and is a leading supplier of high precision temperature control solutions for research and industry. It’s mission is to provide superior customer service and after-sales support for their customers in North America. Worldwide, Huber products ensure precise temperature control in laboratories, pilot plants and production processes from -125°C to +425°C.
With the Unimotive® range, Huber has introduced a specially designed powerful temperature control unit for applications in the automotive industry. These temperature control systems are constructed for operation with water-ethylene glycol mixture with corrosion protection down to -45°C. Typical applications include temperature simulations as well as material testing and temperature-dependent stress and load tests for automotive parts. The optionally available "Flow Control Cube", (M)-FCC; enables precise flow rate
measurement and control.
For applications with high temperatures in connection with water-glycol, the new high-temperature models
Unimotive XT fit best. The units are designed for working temperatures up to +150 °C. For this purpose,
Unimotive XT works with a fully integrated and variable pressure superposition.
The new Unimotive GL (Green Line) units operate with carbon dioxide, a natural refrigerant with a GWP of 1. This product line is also available in the XT variant.
Unimotive is also suitable for operation with highly viscous liquids. A "Heat Exchange Pump", HXP, is available for this purpose. This extension contains a heat exchanger, a circulation pump and a bypass for flow control.
With the optional "Automated Drain & Refill System", ADR, the connected application can be drained with
compressed air and changed with the aid of quick couplings. The drained thermal fluid is returned to the
temperature control unit and can be reused.
The Unimotive models feature unique thermodynamics for highly accurate and reproducible results. The
proven Unistat technology also allows very short heating and cooling times and excellent temperature control accuracy.
