ATP Automotive Testing Papenburg GmbH operates one of the largest, most impressive and manufacturer independent automotive proving grounds in the world. The complete area covers about 780 ha and is located in the northwest of Germany. ATP provides 75 km of test tracks with excellent conditions for performing comprehensive vehicle / component tests with passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
In 2018 ATP won the award “Proving Ground of the Year” issued by “Automotive Testing Technology International Magazine”.
State-of-the-art and partly unique tracks as well as fully equipped workshops are available for national and international customers, automotive manufacturers and system suppliers. Furthermore, ATP provides engineering services at customers’ request, such as performing noise tests or development and handling of complete vehicle testing projects. In addition, mechanical support, test and safety coordination as well as fuel supplies are offered.
Since October 2017, ATP already has an Accredited Testing Laboratory, which has been certified by the German Accreditation Body DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (registration no. PL-20534-01-00).
Based on this and taking into account the procedure according to Regulation (EU) 2018/858, it has now been designated as Technical Service for the Scope Noise Emissions (Registration No. KBA-P 00117-21).
Last but not least, ATP also offers attractive conditions for driving trainings (e.g. Proving Ground Driving Licence B or C or safety training courses) and unique events (e.g. product presentations or incentives).
