Bureau Veritas’s Detroit lab has obtained ISO/IEC 17025 certification from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
The Detroit lab adds to Bureau Veritas’s New Mobility network to meet the challenges posed by the autonomous vehicle market.
Detroit operations have an office and laboratory covering 2,300ft2 and is staffed by technical and customer service specialists.
Equipped with test chambers and equipment, the lab provides automotive OEMs and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers with a range of EMC, radio frequency and V2X testing in accordance with international standards.
Jennifer Gasparian, director of automotive at Bureau Veritas CPS North America, said, “Being accredited by A2LA supports Bureau Veritas’s commitment to providing quality automotive testing and compliance services to our clients worldwide. The accreditation also further strengthens our US network of laboratories located in Milpitas and Sunnyvale (California) as well as Buffalo, New York, and Littleton, Massachusetts, which currently meet internationally and nationally recognized standards and specifications.”
