A newly developed, flexible, high-precision single-axis testing system for various applications has been added to eMpulse’s SeaPlus series. It is suited for testing instrument panels in the automotive sector but can also be used for analysis of consumer electronics and packaging. Although it’s an entry-level option, it still includes eMpulse’s trusted SeaPlus technology, which, according to the company, offers clean, efficient operation and reliable performance.
With a stroke length of up to 12in and frequencies up to 400Hz, the high-precision system is built to handle the demands of harsh testing environments. Adjustable head expanders and customizable DUT interfaces enable it to support a wide variety of test articles and configurations, making it suitable for many uses cases.
A standout feature of the SeaPlus series is its use of servoelectric technology. According to eMpulse, this design delivers 46% better performance while consuming less than 20% of the energy consumed by traditional hydraulic systems.
