measX has announced revisions to its X-Crash, X-Zero and X-Crash ATD portfolio of tools for the evaluation of passive safety systems and dummy calibration. The updates consist of an estimated 60 new and 200 extended evaluations.
The C-IASI NCAP test – important for the Chinese market – forms part of the portfolio update. Differences and similarities in comparison with other standards – including those of the NHTSA – can be easily determined using X-Crash, making it possible to evaluate individual crash tests for several standards at once, even for the Chinese market. The most recent web-enabled evaluations accelerate the process, ensuring time efficiency and validation.
“As usual, this version brings extensive new features and also support for new revisions of standards,” said Klaas Ebel, director of vehicle safety at measX. “Our customers like to use the possibility to compare different revisions or standards with each other. In this way, new standards are also comprehensively validated. Confidence in new standards is thus quickly established in view of the rapid pace of development – invaluable when it comes to safety.”
