This year, MTS Systems will focus on the core of advanced motion, measurement and software/controls technologies, while profiling state-of-the-art solutions to the industry’s most daunting durability and vehicle dynamics test and simulation challenges.
Exemplifying the latest addition to MTS’s diverse motion technology core, the most noteworthy display at Booth 8514 will be an operational, all-electric 6DOF MAST system supplied by newly acquired E2M Technologies.
To highlight innovation at the measurement core, the booth will feature a micro-car, fully instrumented with wheel force transducers, accelerometers and more, provided by MTS subsidiary, PCB Piezotronics. Previews of the coming RPC Connect software platform will underscore advancement at the software/controls core.
For durability testing, the MTS booth will profile solutions for maximizing test throughput and lab operational efficiency. Foremost among these will be the latest iteration of the Model 329 spindle-coupled road simulator.
For vehicle dynamics analysis work MTS will outline high-fidelity simulation solutions relevant to the development of active systems for ADAS and autonomous vehicles. These will include the latest Flat-Trac handling roadway and a variety of hybrid simulation solutions for integrating physical test systems with computational models to gain critical insight earlier in vehicle development.
