FEV has introduced the latest version of its automation system for e-mobility testing, Morphee 4, at this year’s expo. This new version introduces enhanced adaptability and efficiency in automation, featuring native Python language support which allows developers to create complex automated testing procedures easily. The system’s compatibility with Windows 11 ensures a seamless experience across the latest PC platforms.
Morphee 4 leverages workstations equipped with the latest chipset technology, enabling exceptional performance. The integration of the robust RTX4 real-time operating system kernel ensures that even the most resource-intensive tasks are executed with precision, pushing the boundaries of automation for faster and more reliable results.
Additionally, the introduction of the Morphee Rest API transforms system connectivity by opening up new possibilities for remote monitoring, control and compliance management, according to FEV. This feature is designed to enhance system connectivity and facilitate remote access to testing processes, for scalability, efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
“What needs to be said first of all is that for us, this is the first step toward Morphee applications directly integrated into the cloud. This is the future: just look at the test benches at battery test centers, which are usually managed from a single control room. Imagine the gains in terms of access to updates and new functionalities on the test bench, gains in terms of remote control of the test bench, gains in terms of access to test bench results for test engineers, gains in terms of test bench maintenance,” said Hassen Hadj Amor, Morphee product manager.
“To manage the test bench, you are no longer physically linked to the test bench PC, and the test bench operator himself gains in flexibility. It also makes it easier for our hotline teams and experts to intervene: anywhere in the world, at any time, we can help our customers: that’s security for them.”
With these advanced features, Morphee 4 aims to provide a versatile and user-friendly open system, ensuring excellent performance and a simple user experience through its integration of hardware and software technologies.
“We’re always on the lookout for ways to improve memory utilization and processor management, as automated testing is increasingly demanding in terms of the quantity and speed of data to be processed, in order to improve the quality of test results. Advanced debugging features have been added and many other functionalities: come to visit us, and it will be a pleasure to show them to you,” Hadj Amor concluded.
