Building on its expertise in end-to-end testing systems for the two- and three-wheel industry, Dynomerk has begun supplying end-of-line ADAS calibration equipment to car manufacturers. The company has a scale model of the system on display at its booth.
The modular solution covers radar as well as camera calibration. This is in line with India’s recent adoption of ADAS Level 2 technologies. Dynomerk director Ketaki Raut explained, “The company is now focusing on newer technologies and ADAS for passenger safety, as well as alternative-fuel engine testing. The ADAS equipment can be used to conduct calibration and testing to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of safety features such as automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and more.
“The product highlights include multi-model compatible setup, high-speed target positioning, high accuracy of vehicle and target positioning, illumination intensity control and provision for future development. Its applications include vehicle R&D, production end-of-line and aftersales service. This solution is beneficial to both car manufacturers and their component suppliers.”
Dynomerk provides an extensive array of testing systems for applications ranging from automotive R&D, production, quality assurance and academia. In addition to demonstrating its ADAS calibration equipment, the company is displaying a simulation of the flashPRO ECU flashing software. Raut said, “This is a simple, quick and efficient ECU flashing software where parallel flashing of several ECUs is possible. The smart system architecture enables simple adaptation to the changing architecture. Direct ECU access makes possible the successful management of emerging challenges in terms of performance, data sizes, processes and security.
“We are very excited that Automotive Testing Expo is back in India and delighted with the response from visitors. We are also looking forward to a bigger show next year.”
