Gilles Le Borgne (pictured), executive VP of quality and engineering, is to leave Groupe PSA on May 2 due to personal reasons. He will be replaced by Nicolas Morel, currently senior vice president of vehicle projects and the company’s Life Series. Morel has held other senior positions in various areas of vehicle engineering in Europe and China.
Carlos Tavares, chairman of the management board at Groupe PSA, said, “I want to highlight Gilles Le Borgne’s commitment and contribution. He has driven his teams with rigor and professionalism in the development of our vehicles and the technological development of our Push To Pass strategic plan.
“Following the departure of Gilles Le Borgne, the company plans to provide access to high-potential managers who have achieved results and proven their managerial capabilities. It’s also an opportunity to move young talent into key positions within R&D.”
Sébastien Jacquet, currently senior vice president of vehicle programs, will replace Nicolas Morel.
Carla Gohin, who is senior vice president of research and advanced engineering, expands her scope to become chief technology officer.
