Measurement technology experts Kistler marked the Chinese New Year on February 5 by opening a new office in Shanghai-Hongqiao Business Park.
A stone’s throw from China’s National Exhibition and Convention Center, the seven-story building offers 4,200m² (45,210ft²) of floor space.
With room for 100 employees, it will accommodate Kistler’s Automotive Research and Test, Sensor Technology and Industrial Process Control divisions, as well as a Tech Center providing services such as calibration, training, technical adaptations and repairs. An extensive exhibition area offers customers the chance to see Kistler’s latest products and examine them in depth.
“We see the opening of our new branch in Shanghai as the next logical step in our global corporate strategy,” said Kistler CEO Rolf Sonderegger.
“This office is not only the future hub for all Kistler’s Chinese projects: it will also strengthen communication with our customers on the ground in China. It now puts us in a better position to assist them with comprehensive service, sales and technical support.”
