DJB Instruments (UK) has expanded into Asia, with the opening of the DJB Instruments (China) office in Shanghai, China.
The new office will be headed up by Kevin Li, who has many years of experience in the noise and vibration marketplace, working with companies such as MTS and Vibration Research. He will be supported by a sales team, all of whom have direct industry experience with vibration and accelerometer applications.
The opening of the China office is the first of a number of new announcements that form the basis of a major expansion for the British accelerometer manufacturer, with new products, new staff and further overseas offices all on the cards.
Neill Ovenden, managing director of DJB, said, “The Chinese market is the setting for some fascinating R&D in many of our key markets, and the new office will give us the perfect launch pad to integrate DJB’s unique products into these applications.”
