ACS has moved into a new, larger office to accommodate growth in its business of designing and building engine and vehicle test equipment and facilities.
“We continue to develop strong partnerships with automotive manufacturers and suppliers as we work to help them achieve their testing and operational goals,” said Chris Arnold, managing director, ACS Michigan.
Less than four years ago, ACS established a regional office in Michigan and since opening the doors, has worked with dozens of local companies and completed more than US$100m in projects.
The local presence in Michigan has allowed ACS to strengthen its relationships with legacy customers including Detroit Diesel and Umicore, while entering into contracts with new customers such as Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and Ford.
ACS has taken on a pool of new staff in the Detroit area, with the ability to leverage additional resources from the company headquarters in Wisconsin.
“The industry has placed their trust in our ability to deliver testing solutions ranging from one-of-a-kind pieces of test equipment to greenfield technical centers,” said Scott Hoselton, president of ACS.
“Our customers tell us that they value our technical expertise and our integrated approach to the design and construction of their complex test equipment and facilities. ACS is a company built on strong customer relationships, and it’s rewarding to see so many new relationships grow in the Michigan market.”
