A sensor from Scanivalve – the MPS4232 miniature ethernet pressure scanner – has been upgraded from 50psi to 100psi. It is said to deliver better efficiency, accuracy and versatility in wind tunnel testing.
Scanivalve engineers have developed a unique means of maximizing sensor stability for span and offset, badged dynamic zero correction. This technique greatly improves the sensor’s stability over time and temperature. The increase in overall sensor stability reduces the need for zero offset and span calibrations, resulting in greatly reduced test interruptions and down time.
The compact form factor simplifies installation and minimizes interference with the aerodynamics of the test setup.
With ethernet connectivity, the MPS4232 can be easily integrated into existing networks, enabling real-time data acquisition. It is also compatible with standard data acquisition systems.
By being adaptable to various pressure ranges and configurations, the the MPS4232 is suitable for a wide array of applications.
