An array of new functionalities have been added to Kistler’s jBEAM analysis software, with the latest version, jBEAM Durability, now enabling vehicle developers to carry out tests that are increasingly flexible and efficient.
The latest iteration combines several benefits for users, including fast data analysis, clear visualization and automated reporting, and can be used in partnership with Kistler’s RoaDyn measurement technology – the company’s wheel measurement equipment.
Kistler developed the jBEAM Durability software with partners from the automotive sector to ensure it was capable of accurately recording and analyzing a multitude of factors to correctly predict vehicle behaviors even under adverse conditions.
The software now features an array of modules including for damage accumulation, rain flow analyses and spike detection and correction, which unlock possibilities for data analysis and test stand preparation, in addition to fostering collaboration between differing areas of vehicle development.
