First-time exhibitor Dynisma is at Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart to highlight its approach to driver-in-the-loop simulation with its high-tech motion platform. The company is offering virtual reality walkarounds of its simulators to put the application into context, and has reported an incredibly successful start to the expo.
According to commercial manager Gavin Farmer, the show has provided the perfect platform for face-to-face meetings with industry specialists. “We are very happy to be here exhibiting – it’s a powerful way to address the automotive OEMs in Europe and beyond. In the first few hours of the show opening, that had become a reality as we had already begun making contacts with the manufacturers and Tier 1s.
DIL simulators are becoming a requisite in the developer’s toolkit, but understanding the technicalities can be tricky for non-specialists. Dynisma aims to help companies grasp the intricacies of motion simulation and understand how its systems can augment a test application.
Farmer explained that the differentiating factors of Dynisma’s technology are the high-grade motion bandwidth and low latency, both of which are claimed to be unique in the industry. These factors enable the production of driving simulators with a much tighter loop between the vehicle models and the drivers or riders.
