A state-of-the-art cable-driven DiM400 driving simulator from VI-grade has been installed at the China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Research Institute’s (CIVC) new engineering center in Beijing, China. Following a successful commissioning period, it is now available for rent by automotive OEMs and suppliers for intelligent chassis, intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving development.

With this new simulator and other testing capabilities, CICV, led by the national think tank, is forging a service platform with an innovation ecosystem that supports advanced technology development and technology transfer.”

The DiM400 simulator is equipped with VI-grade software for motion cueing, vehicle modeling, and graphic environment and active technology management. The cockpit incorporates equipment for driver’s biology signal acquisition and processing and driver monitoring systems for advanced ADAS and HMI simulation.
