On the third and final day of the show, Trilion Quality System gave a demonstration of the latest version of its GOM Aramis software package for measurement and evaluation of material and component behavior.
“Version 8 is of higher accuracy than the previous version and it’s much more user friendly,” explained applications engineer, Tim Garbarino. “It does a lot of tasks automatically and people don’t have to go through lots of hidden settings.”
Garbarino also revealed that the new technology innovation includes a host of other new features such as improved deformation analysis of points, a timeline integrated in the graphical interface, which supports the management of multi-stage projects and a ‘live’ module, which enables ATOS 3D scanners to be employed for live measuring of movements and deviations, in addition to full-field scanning.
