HBM has developed three new modules, designed to make the SomatXR data acquisition system even more powerful and flexible. Specifically developed for use in harsh environments, the latest additions to the HBM range include the MX840B-R and SomatXR MX411B-R amplifiers and the SomatXR MX471B-R CAN module.
The MX840B-R is a universal amplifier, which offers eight channels for connecting over 16 different transducer technologies, making it the ideal solution for various measurement tasks. With four channels and a data rate of up to 100kS/s per channel, SomatXR MX411B-R is ideally suited for highly dynamic measurement tasks, such as vibration measurements and impact tests, which require precise measurement.
Also available to add to the measurement chain is the robust SomatXR MX471B-R CAN bus module which can be used to record mechanical quantities and also digital vehicle data. Featuring four individually configurable interfaces which receive CAN data, the module also supports reading of CCP or xCP-on-CAN messages and offers the option of using CAN messages as triggers for measurement recordings. In addition, the module also provides gateway functionality and can send sensor signals acquired with other SomatXR modules as CAN messages.
