Millbrook has broken ground on the latest phase of its Technology Park, which has been supported by £1.2m (US$1.5m) of funding from the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP).
Due for completion in July 2017, the facilities are to include three large workshops with wide bays and tall access points, particularly suitable for buses, trucks and off-highway vehicles. Each workshop is 170m² and includes dedicated office space. Tenants can rent the workshops on a short or long-term basis.
“The three new bays have been designed with larger vehicles in mind, and are perfectly suited to those working with commercial vehicles,” said Martin Hughes, director of the proving ground and Technology Park.
“We offer our tenants excellent flexibility and complete confidentiality. Alongside that, many find that the location gives them great networking opportunities and the ability to share knowledge and expertise.”
