Huber Kältemaschinenbau is the technology leader for high precision thermoregulation solutions in research and industry and ensures precise temperature control in laboratories, pilot plants and production processes from -125°C to +425°C.
With the Unimotive® range, Huber introduces a specially designed powerful temperature control unit for applications in the automotive industry. These temperature control systems are constructed for operation with water-ethylene glycol mixture with corrosion protection down to -45°C. Typical applications include temperature simulations as well as material testing and temperature-dependent stress and load tests for automotive parts. The optionally available "Flow Control Cube" enables precise flow rate measurement and control.
The new Unimotive GL model series (Green Line) operates with the natural refrigerant carbon dioxide and offers a 100 % environmentally friendly alternative to units with synthetic refrigerants. Carbon dioxide is a natural component of air and, in contrast to synthetically produced refrigerants, has a GWP of 1. Due to the climate-friendly refrigerant, the carbon footprint can be kept as low as possible throughout the entire production cycle.
For applications with high temperatures in connection with water-glycol, the high-temperature models "Unimotive XT" fit best. The units are designed for working temperatures up to +150 °C. For this purpose, Unimotive XT works with a fully integrated and variable pressure superposition.
Unimotive is also suitable for operation with highly viscous liquids. A "Heat Exchange Pump", HXP, is available for this purpose. This extension contains a heat exchanger, a circulation pump and a bypass for flow control.
With the optional "Automated Drain & Refill System", ADR, the connected application can be drained with compressed air and changed with the aid of quick couplings. The drained thermal fluid is returned to the temperature control unit and can be reused.
