Lotus unveiled its Evija all-electric hypercar in July 2019, with the vehicle currently undergoing a test and development program at, among other venues, the company’s Hethel test track in the UK.
The car sports a 2,000bhp electric drivetrain, which utilizes four, 360kW (493bhp) electric motors powered by a 70kWh battery pack, developed with assistance from Williams Advanced Engineering. Production of the Evija is scheduled for mid-2021.
