AVL - Functional and software development specialist for dual clutch transmissions
Tasks:
Specification, development and testing of powertrain software (with emphasis on dual clutch transmissions)
Development of clutch control, transmission control and interfaces to engine, hybrid components and other vehicle components
Handling all areas of functional and software development (definition and analysis of requirements, definition of functional architecture, design and implementation, integration and test)
Handling prototype and production implementations
Intensive utilization and optimization of simulation (MiL, SiL, HiL)
Close collaboration with adjoining technical functions (design, calibration)
Hands-on testing on test beds and in vehicles
Requirements:
University / polytechnic mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or physics degree
Experience of functional and software development of dual clutch transmissions
Experience of Matlab / Simulink or ASCET and automatic code generation
Experience relating to CMMI or SPICE advantageous
Basic knowledge of control engineering advantageous
Interest in, knowledge of and enthusiasm for drivetrain and control thereof
Analytical, system-oriented thinking
Outstanding communication, organizational and team skills
